Connect Bluesky

Authorize the intended Bluesky account and confirm its connection before scheduling.

Steps

  1. Open Bluesky and sign in yourself.
  2. Go to Settings → App Passwords (under Privacy and Security in some versions).
  3. Create a new app password named SocialMint.
  4. Copy the generated app password and keep it private.
  5. In SocialMint, open Brands → select your brand → Connect a channel, then choose bluesky.
  6. Enter your Bluesky handle or account email as Identifier; use the handle for a custom PDS.
  7. Paste the app password into App password; never enter your main password.
  8. Save the connection and check that the displayed handle is yours.
  9. Compose a post of at most 300 graphemes, including any attached link.
  10. Attach up to four images, each no larger than 1 MB.
  11. Oversized or unsupported images are omitted with a warning; review the result.
  12. If access expires, create a fresh app password and reconnect.

SocialMint creates a fresh session for each operation and does not store session tokens.
